FORKLIFT SAFETY TRAIN-THE-TRAINER OFFERED AT NCC

 

            OSHA requires that only trained and authorized personnel operate forklifts. Northwest Iowa Community College, Sheldon, IA, will offer a Forklift Safety Train-the-Trainer course on Monday, March 15, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. in Room 443 in Building D at NCC. Participants will learn how to train others and receive operational experience in forklift safety. The fee for this course is $49.

            On Saturday, March 27, an 8-hour course will be offered for individuals interested in learning how to operate a forklift. This class is for beginners and includes classroom, hands-on training, and testing. Upon successful completion of this course, participants will receive certification meeting OSHA requirements. Forklift Operator Training is scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., in Room 443 in Building D at NCC. The fee for this course is $99.
